The SpaltFix K-415 firewood processor with chainsaw is the ideal firewood processor for communities and firewood producers. The hydraulically driven log feed is easy to control using a 1-hand joystick. The logs are cut to a length of 20-50cm by a professional chainsaw, the automated wood rocker hands the cut log over to the pressure piece of the splitting unit which pushes it through the splitting knife. The result: 4, 6, 8 or 12* billets per work step. The firewood is loaded via the attached conveyor belt or first freed of splinters by the optional screen. Using the longitudinal chassis allows the firewood processor to be transported on roads too. The log feeding system is also available on wheels. The split cutter SpaltFix S-375 cuts and splits logs up to Ø 37 cm in 2, 4, 6 or 8 parts in one work cycle. The cutting length can be adjusted from 20 to 50 cm. The hydraulic timber feed transports the timber to the circular saw blade via the conveyor belt. Thanks to the feed belt inclined to the rear, the cutting cycle is ideally adapted to the log diameter, which enables maximum performance with small diameters as well. The hydraulic log downholder and the adjustable log stop that lifts during cutting prevent logs from getting stuck. It is easy to operate with a one-hand joystick control. The finished billets are directly transported to loading via an angled conveyor belt. OnlyCut system: As standard, the splitting knife and the splitting knife support can be removed in only a few steps, and so the SpaltFix S-375 can be used as high-performance saw without splitting tool.
