The Solitair DT delivers seedbed preparation and precise seeding with a single high-speed pass with only one machine. The front integrated compact disc harrow buries residue, levels out ruts and creates a uniform, level seedbed at 13 – 16 km/hr (8 – 10 mph) to a soil depth of up to 10 cm (4″). The tillage unit can handle rough, primary-tilled fields or moderate cereal stubble, or bean residue or light corn trash.
Optional Fertilizer Coulters can distribute dry fertilizer into the seedbed before seed placement. A set of packer tires firm the soil in front of the single row of openers. Dry fertilizer can also be delivered in the furrow with the seed. Seed rows can be 13 cm (5″) or 17 cm (6.5″) apart.
Soil reconsolidation and just-in-time tillage minimizes any risk of soil erosion or moisture loss. Seeds are accurately placed at uniform depth into a firm seedbed with excellent seed-to-soil contact. Tanks options are single or double tanks that are 3400 l (96 bu.) or 4400 l (125 bu.) The Solitair DT is available in 4 m ( 13 ft), 6 m (20 ft) and 9 m (30 ft) working widths. Ask your LEMKEN dealer for a demo in your field this fall.
