The 2009 John Deere 9770 STS is a small grain combine built for high-capacity performance. It features duals with 20.8R-42 R1 radial tires on wide spacing for 30-inch rows and 28L-26 12PR rears, supported by a heavy-duty final drive and hydrostatic drive system. The Level Land feederhouse includes a reverser, fixed speed drive, and 2.75-inch (70 mm) lift cylinders for reliable header control, paired with the Premium Header Control Package for precise operation. Configured with a small wire concave setup, this machine also includes a general-purpose adjustable chaffer and bottom sieve, along with a high-capacity grain handling system. The 22.5-foot one-piece unloading auger supports fast grain transfer, and the combine includes a fine-cut, two-speed chopper with integrated chaff spreader, wing blades, and a single-point adjustable knife bank for efficient residue management.
