About Us
ROBERTSON IMPLEMENTS
Robertson Implements is a fourth generation New Holland Dealership proudly serving farmers and farming communities since 1921. We are committed to providing quality products and efficient service that will keep you operational in the field.
From humble beginnings to the strongly rooted organization it is today, Robertson Implements proudly serves its local communities. By supporting local farmers with quality service and equipment, Robertson is committed to be always there for you.The legacy of Robertson Implements spans five generations, dating back to the early 1900's. Our success stems from a strong family heritage of commitment and service to the farms and families in the communities we’ve served over the last one hundred years.
The first generation lead by Peter Robertson immigrated from Scotland, homesteading in the Rush Lake district in 1905. A blacksmith by trade, Peter set up shop in the village doing blacksmith work, selling coal and wood for heating and acting as a dealer for Cockshutt farm implements.
Peter's only son, Dan, continued selling coal, wood and Cockshut implements through the 30's, 40's and 50's. During these years, Dan secured the New Holland line of haying equipment and constructed a new building to house Robertson Implements in the village of Rush Lake.
The business was carried on by Dan's sons, Don and Murray, who chose to deal exclusively in New Holland. In 1988 it was time to expand. The Robertson team relocated to Herbert and constructed a new 7,000 square foot facility to better serve our customers.
In 1993 Robertson Implements opened up a New Holland Dealership in Swift Current, operating both locations until 1997 when the Herbert location was closed. The Shaunavon dealership was added in 2000 and Moose Jaw in 2001.
Today, Robertson Implements continues to operate as a New Holland dealership under the leadership of Don's sons, Doug and Jim. The fifth generation is represented by Doug's son Cody, who currently heads up the Motorsports division.
At Robertson, we look forward to continuing our legacy of commitment and service to the farms and families we serve.
