Bush Hog 812 Rotary Cutter

The 1812 Flex-Wing Rotary Cutter is designed for small tractors with a PTO power of 50 to 75. The narrow 12-feet cutting width makes this Flex-Wing ideal for rolling terrain where a rigid, wide mower will not give the same results. Grass, weeds and brush up to 1 1/2-inch in diameter are no match for the hardened parallel-lift blades. The narrow width is also ideal for orchards where pruning residue must be cut into smaller pieces. The 1812 features maintenance-friendly characteristics, E-Z clean decks that are easy to clean, high-performance cutting and distribution, and it is built Bush Hog® tough for years of reliable service.

Performance features

- E-Z clean smooth decks are on the center and on the wings. - Free-floating wings without movement of the hydraulic cylinder rod extend the life of the cylinder. - The gearbox oil level sight allows checking the oil level in seconds. - A PTO drive shaft support is standard. - Wheel pivots/axes are two-piece to reduce costs and ease maintenance. - A single hydraulic hose is standard for lift. Two hoses are optional to raise the wings independently of the center section.

Construction features

- Center section bushings are placed at each axle arm to absorb shocks near the wheels. - Full-length replaceable side shoes provide maximum protection and strength to the side band. - Hub cap retainers are standard to prevent loss of the cap and hub grease.
