DEMO Springland UTL45 Upper extension with spout The U-shape allows grain to flow more efficiently with less power compared to traditional round-tube augers. During filling, the U-trough fills to the top of the cover, allowing a large portion of the product to flow with little or no contact with the auger flighting. The result is a lower percentage of damaged product. This innovation allows augers to be used for all products, from lentils and cereals to canola. The design combines the advantages of a traditional auger and a conveyor.
