Springland UTL45 — top extension with chute The U-shape allows grain to flow more efficiently while requiring less power compared with traditional round-tube augers. During loading, the U-trough fills to the top of the cover, allowing a large portion of the product to flow with little or no contact with the flight. The result is a lower percentage of damaged product. This innovation makes it possible to use the augers for all products, from lentils and cereals to canola. The design combines the advantages of a traditional auger and a conveyor.
