The new Ventrac Fine Cut and Fast Cut flail mowers are in a class of their own. Thanks to the front-mounted design, unique to Ventrac, these cutting decks offer the ability to turn tall or dense areas into a quality finished cut for quick and efficient property maintenance. Flail mowers are a perfect choice for any overgrown area containing a wide variety of vegetation types. Add Ventrac’s capabilities to mow difficult areas such as slopes, wet areas, or retention basins, and these mowers will improve your productivity when it comes to maintaining a property.

The two available models, Fine Cut and Fast Cut, feature unique knife options and offer two widths for greater versatility of cutting, speed and application. The cutting deck widths are 56” and 72” and provide the greatest versatility to meet specific property needs.

The Fine Cut Flail (MW560/MW722) is equipped with bucket knives, and it will deliver a quality cut with a more finished appearance on turf vegetation that is mowed 3 to 8 times per year.

The Fast Cut Flail (MY562/MY722) is fitted with Y knives; it is suitable for applications on dense or brush-type material. The Fast Cut is a good choice for brush and invasive vine areas that do not require regular mowing, but where you still want a better finish than with a typical coarse-cutting rotary mower.
