Features of the Kello-Bilt Tandem Disc

Oil-bath bearings: back-to-back tapered roller bearings are used to reduce lateral shear during use of the disc harrow. Sealed with Duo-Cone TM seals, the bearings are bathed in 90W gear oil for a friction-free life.

Welded spacer: spacers made of steel that do not crack or compress, offering maximum durability in the toughest conditions.

Gang shafts and end washers: made from high carbon alloy steel to eliminate stretching and premature failures.

Disc blades: supplied as standard with 26” V notched blades for working hard soils.

Bearing housings and wear plates: made from a rectangular tube with a minimum thickness of 3/8” for maximum support.

Gang bar: made from a single piece of steel for maximum stability. There are no U-Bolts that could elongate and loosen, which could cause failure of the disc assemblies or bearings.

Heavy-duty construction: assembly is made with Grade 8 Zinc-Plated bolts and hardware, and the structure is built with 6” by 4” by 3/8” thick high strength steel tube. Frames are fully welded and reinforced to withstand acres of intensive use.
