The King of the Koalas

The Koala 550 is the largest of the Koala family. With a Hardox® chassis of 20mm and a Hardox® arm of 50mm, the K550 is undoubtedly the "King" of the Koalas. Weighing 1600kg, the K550 is one of the most robust tree shears you will find on the market. This massive chassis ensures that it is stronger, more resilient and more robust than any other product in its class on the market. The K550 is simple to use: connect the tree shear to the hydraulic lines of the excavator's hammer and you will have full control of the shear's powerful hydraulic cylinder.

A key feature of the Koala Shear's design is the replaceable blade in case it is damaged during extreme use. Another important feature is the bolted attachment that allows mounting the Shear on other excavators. The bolted attachment also gives you the possibility to use the Shear on other machines such as telehandlers, mini-loaders (skid steers) and cranes.
