MDE Koala K400 — Tree Shear

The first of the Koala family

The K400 was the first of the Koala family. Built in 2014, it is the original model of our Koala range. With a 15mm Hardox chassis and a 40mm Hardox arm, the K400 has evolved considerably. Power is not a problem for this Koala: its bite force is more than 3 times greater than that of the K200.

With an intentionally massive chassis, the K400 is one of the heavy-duty tree shears you will find, weighing 758kg. This heavy chassis ensures it is stronger, more resilient and more robust than any other unit in its class. The K400 is simple to use: connect the shear to the excavator's hammer lines and you will have full control of the shear's powerful hydraulic cylinder.
